Sat 7/17 There is an outstanding array of free programs for kids offered on Saturdays at the Denver Public Library. Look for music, magic, puppets, animal presentations, drumming, science demos, cooking, and much more. Top programs occur at the Central Branch and many of the smaller branches too. Denver - Chicano Humanities & Arts Council (CHAC)
Sat 7/17 Each session presents the children with enjoyable educational art projects along with refreshments. Classes are lead by CHAC member artists and include terrific seasonal hands-on projects such as Christmas Ornaments, Valentines Hearts, and Calaveras "Sugar Skulls" - a traditional Mexican ornament/treat used for "El Dia de los Muertos" (Day of the Dead).
